Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs per practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for comprehensive care
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one before start
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Skilled in accurate and timely documentation
• Ability to supervise and direct PTAs and Rehab Techs
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic healthcare environment
