Registered Nurse - Acute CareThis is a 13-week contract position.12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our acute care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Manage a patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-8 during nights.Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as needed.Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.Titrate drips as required, excluding cardiac drip titration.Support the nursing assistants and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.Monitor and document patient responses to treatment.Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort.Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required; new travelers are welcome to apply.Valid RN license and BLS certification are mandatory.Experience with common diagnoses such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, and alcohol withdrawal is preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
