Position Overview

• Location: Parkers Prairie, MN primarily with one day a week in Evansville, MN
• Setting: SNF/LTC; ALF/AIL; OP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Flexible; MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in SNF/LTC, OP, IP preferred new grads encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Providing supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and identify functional and movement-related impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
• Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques to support healing
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
• Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA
