Data Center Technician
$23 - $27 per hourManpower
Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Server Technician (Rack Stack) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Rack Stack Technician / IT Rack Build Technician (Data Center Technician)Location: Plano, TX
Pay Range: $23 - $27/hr based on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Job Type: Temp-to-hire What's the Job?
- Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling.
- Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, and other IT equipment.
- Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, and power strips.
- Read cabling diagrams and follow detailed work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including site inspections, equipment staging/uncrating, network hardware installation, documentation, and maintaining a safe work area.
- 1+ year of structured cabling or data center experience.
- Experience with rack and stack and IT hardware installation.
- Ability to read cabling diagrams and follow technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
