MS-Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled MS-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to support our clinical team across multiple facilities within a designated zone. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing quality patient care across various units and specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the MS-Tele unit.
• Float to various units within the assigned zone as needed, including but not limited to Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Obs.
• Monitor and titrate medications and drips, including Heparin as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and training for successful integration.
• Maintain compliance with all certification requirements.
• Submit time-off requests prior to beginning the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Prior neuro patient care experience is strongly preferred.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance and may follow one of two formats:

• Scheduled at a single facility for the week with potential to float within that facility.
• Just-In-Time (JIT) assignments where facility is assigned 1-2 hours before shift start via call.

Expect to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule, and you may be asked to participate in holiday rotations as needed.

Patient Care Environment

Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:5-6 based on patient acuity. Designated Charge Nurses support the unit and may manage patient assignments based on unit needs.
