Unit Information: MRI Unit Location: Lawnwood Regional Medical Center Address: 1700 South 23rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34954 Floor: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table Number of Staff – 1 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts Type of staff: 2 MRI Techs total o Day Shift – 2 MRI Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts o Night Shift - 2 MRI Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts Patient Ratios – 1:1 Type of equipment - GE, 1.5, Discovery 450 EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, ARRT Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. ACLS but not required List typical procedures performed on unit(s): MRI scans producing detailed pictures of internal body structures Does not use any X-Rays Best personality fit: Critical thinker, flexible, no call associated, willing to work weekends and nights Work independently is a MUST, adaptable, flexible Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
