Our LPCs can earn between USD 90,000 and 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked, with the addition of a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to guide clients in improving their mental health.
• Facilitating discussions around clients' emotions and experiences to foster greater self-awareness and insight.
• Acting as a client advocate, assisting individuals in defining their personal and therapeutic goals.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and developing tailored treatment plans informed by evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Providing ongoing support and consistent follow-ups to track progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of low-acuity, stable adults who have been thoroughly screened to ensure that their needs align with our services. This demographic allows you to focus on fostering healthy coping strategies and enhancing the clients' overall well-being without grappling with high-intensity crises commonly seen in other settings.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must possess the following credentials and skills:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Independent licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Ability to make professional evaluations, and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation based on sound clinical judgment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients.
• Strong computer literacy to navigate digital platforms efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, familiarity with flexible scheduling, or a background in community mental health will find an advantage. Skills in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) can also be beneficial.
