NTSOC is looking for a compassionate CNA to provide high quality care for our pediatric and adult clients to improve their quality of life at home. Job Details Job Type: Part Time and Hourly, with possibility for Full Time. Job Location: Client located in Sanford, Colorado. Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly, dependent upon experience. Essential Functions Provides direct care to selected clients as assigned by nursing leadership. Provides skilled assistance with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, combing hair, oral hygiene, dressing, etc. Provides care in accordance with the client’s plan of care and tasks assigned by RN. Implements the client's plan of care in compliance with agency and governmental regulations. Provides simple exercises, transfers, and assists with therapy programs when instructed. Responsible for documentation of all care provided within 24 hours of the visit utilizing electronic health record software. Reports immediately to supervisor or professional staff any changes in the client's condition or any problems in assigned tasks. Provides emotional support to clients and families. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to advocate for and relate to clients/families and their concerns. Minimum Education Must have completed a state accredited CNA Program. Minimum Experience 1‑year experience working as a CNA preferred. Home care experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications Must have a Colorado CNA certificate in good standing (DORA). Current BLS/CPR required. Physical/Mental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and communicate effectively with other people. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to drive to client homes. Working Conditions Home environment. May be exposed to occupational hazards such as communicable diseases, harmful chemicals, and/or disoriented or combative patients. Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with changes in activity.
