• Experience as a seasoned traveler with at least one contract
• Charge experience is preferred
• Ability to float between acute care units

Description: BLOCK TRAVEL EXPERIENCE - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse Required. The position will float between units as needed. On-call duties are not required. Every other weekend is required. Block schedules are approved but not required. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Special requirements include seasoned travel experience. A hospital highlights section includes a total of 379 staffed beds and designation as a Level II Trauma Center. Daily census averages around 27 patients in the unit. Dress code for nursing personnel requires solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire without prints. Free parking is available in designated areas. Mandatory requirements state that travelers may float to other facilities as necessary. Selected candidates must be prepared to work three of five major holidays. References will be required from recent positions. All time spent completing modules is accounted for in hours worked.
