High School Diploma or Equivalent 3. Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program required - Must show in Education section. 4. Valid California LVN license - Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program or junior college required 4. Current DMV printout - Can be obtained on DMV website (MUST be no greater than 30 days old) - Please see link on right hand side for CA DMV Printout website 5. Typing test: adjusted/net speed 40wpm minimum on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - Online tests accepted (see Optional Application Resources under Links Related to the Job) 6. Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training* *Can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person CPR/First Aid class in lieu of card (see Optional Application Resources under Links Related to the Job) **Submitting documents that appear to be altered, falsified, or manipulated may disqualify applicants from the current recruitment and from future employment opportunities with AVUSD.**

Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree preferred 2. Two (2) years nursing experience in a public health setting preferred. 3. Experience working with children with special needs in a school setting preferred. ***Must meet minimum requirements per the job description. Applicants encouraged to review entire job description before applying.*** Required upon hire: 1. Certificate stating freedom from tuberculosis 2. Valid California Driver's license 3. Valid Social Security Card or acceptable alternative 4. Candidates selected for appointment are required to be fingerprinted in our office at the employee's expense and must receive DOJ and FBI clearance before beginning work. • Certification (Current LVN license)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (NO ONLINE COURSES; NO BLS CARDS; MUST INCLUDE PEDIATRIC TRAINING)
