Job Description

The CT Technologist is a vital member of the imaging team, responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to inpatients and outpatients. This role requires proficiency in performing routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, ensuring the timely delivery of services under the direction of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and surgical imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, contrast media administration, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Ensure adherence to departmental protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school for Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, including prior travel experience.
