HVAC Project Mechanic Journeymen (un)

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled HVAC Journeyman to work with advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment. Experience in residential, light commercial, and/or heavy commercial markets is required. What You Will Do Install and remove HVAC equipment, including Chillers, Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, and Pumps. Perform pipefitting tasks such as welded, screwed, and copper pipe installation. Work primarily at the Lake Butler, FL site; occasional travel to other locations may be required. Ensure safety by using PPE and uniforms, and completing safety analyses on mobile devices before each task. Perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and carrying materials up to 75 lbs. Maintain professionalism and work independently in customer‑facing environments. Qualifications Mechanical Journeyman status with 5+ years of pipefitting, pipe welding, and heavy rigging experience. Valid driver’s license and appropriate refrigerant, boiler, and steam service licenses. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Membership in good standing with Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union #234, Jacksonville, FL. Ability to pass a satisfactory examination for special skills as required. Background screening and drug testing required due to facility access. Additional Requirements Factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards. Safety first: PPE and uniforms provided and must be worn at all times. Occasional travel may be required. Work Schedule & Compensation Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM. Compensation is $37.50 per hour as determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
