Job Description

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise specialized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide all-encompassing, integrative care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families about therapy methods for sustained progress at home
• Track and Update Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify care plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
• Continuing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required

Skills

• A genuine passion for helping others and a strong desire to assist individuals in achieving their maximum level of independence
• Clear and empathetic communication skills with both patients and fellow team members
