Ambulatory Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Spine Surgery (San Francisco, CA)

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Complex Spine Surgery team in a primarily ambulatory setting. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients with complex spinal conditions. The APP will play a key role in supporting both pre- and post-operative care, helping guide patients throughout their surgical journey while contributing to excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program Current CA license (or ability to obtain) Board Certification Full schedule DEA BLS Certification Other Certification required for area of specialty Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, or surgical subspecialty care Experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-based, academic environment Organization Details Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of over 400 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area.
