Description of Work:
Asset Management & CMDB Support Specialist to support and improve enterprise ServiceNow Asset Management and CMDB operations. This role ensures data accuracy, supports lifecycle processes, and strengthens configuration management for mission critical systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance
Bachelor s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency with ServiceNow Asset Management, CMDB, Discovery, and data structures
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Asset, Configuration, Change)
Experience analyzing and remediating CMDB/asset data quality issues
Familiarity with MID Server configuration and Discovery credentials
Ability to manage asset lifecycle processes end to end
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
High attention to detail with large datasets and audit-driven requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain US Public Trust Clearance




Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Maintain and validate CMDB data, CI classes, and relationships
Support ServiceNow Asset Management, Discovery, and MID Server operations
Manage hardware/software assets throughout their lifecycle
Identify data gaps, discrepancies, and audit findings; drive remediation
Create and maintain SOPs, process flows, and knowledge articles
Support software license tracking, entitlement management, and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve data quality and processes
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and automation
Work with AWS CDK or infrastructure as code tooling to deploy and manage Aurora environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies
Basic understanding of ServiceNow JavaScript for troubleshooting
Experience with Service Catalog items for hardware/software requests
Knowledge of license compliance and entitlement reconciliation
Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
ITIL Foundation certification
