About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who can manage QA team members while also driving high-level testing strategy, process improvements, and quality standards across the organization. Although this role is primarily remote, some in-office training and occasional visits to our St. Louis office may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the QA team, including assisting with prioritization and allocation of QA resources
• Establish and enforce QA standards, best practices, and expectations across the team
• Work with the development team to develop, publish, and update the project plan.
• Track issues found while testing and collaborate with the development team on how to resolve.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders on issues found and their impacts to a planned deployment.
• Perform high-level, exploratory, and end-to-end testing on complex or critical features
• Validate automation workflows across systems
• Identify testing gaps and quality risks that may not be covered by standard test cases

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Proven experience managing or leading QA teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, vendors and team members
• Flexible, as priorities can change quickly, day-to-day and even hour-to-hour
• Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Experience creating and executing detailed and complex manual and automation testing scenarios.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, data validation testing, and UAT coordination
• Previous experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

Required Skills

• Healthcare/Health Technology experience
• Previous experience working with database testing and post SQL
• Previous experience with Detox, Playwrite, Selenium, and/or Appium.
• Previous experience with Typescript, ReAct Native and/or Javascript.
