Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working in a vibrant educational environment near Alvin, TX. This contract opportunity will allow you to provide vital support and therapy to students, helping them develop the skills essential for academic and personal success.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing student needs, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student potential. Your expertise will help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid OT license required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Adaptable and proactive approach to caseload management
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for students on your caseload
- Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress in the classroom and beyond
- Maintain up-to-date progress notes and participate in team meetings
- Support a positive, inclusive environment where all students can succeed
Contract Details:
- Full-time hours with start date in October 2026, extending through the end of the school year
- Caseload details available during the interview process to ensure a good fit
