The Role:

• Assignment duration: 6 - 12 months
• Shift Type: Night Float (7p-7a, in house); Day shift 07:00 A-03:30 P
• Shift Lengths: 8 hours: Available; 10 hours: Available; 12 hours: Preferred
• In House Call: Required
• Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Peds
• OT: Not expected
• Site Charting System: Epic
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 30
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes
• What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1 to 4
• Are MDs doing their own cases: Yes
• Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: No
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
• Responsibilities: Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department; medical management of patients during anesthesia including pre-anesthesia assessment, consent verification, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia, physiological monitoring, and clinical intervention as needed.
