QualificationsBasic knowledge in math (adding, subtracting, measurements, etc)Basic knowledge of maintenanceAbility to lift and carry up to 40lbsAcademic BackgroundHigh School Diploma/GEDBenefitsThe starting hourly range for this position is between $20 - 22/hr depending on experienceFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidateThis position is also eligible for a Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company's planThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability, and Basic Life and Supplemental InsuranceYou will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the monthPaid time off:Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company's policy updates5 days of sick timeFull-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each yearResponsibilitiesAs a Polisher for Stone Systems, you are going to be responsible for operating polishing equipment to obtain the desired polish and luster on parts and productsPolish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power toolsApply pressure to polish, glaze, and buff while making sure dimensions stay the sameVerify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible reworkEnsure proper use of equipmentWork in a collaborative environment by helping coworkers in other stations if neededMaintain a clean stationResponsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etcEnsure safety procedures are followedOther duties as assignedIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) upon hire.
