Respiratory Therapist

This position is for a respiratory therapist working in a clinical services environment. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The patient population includes mostly geriatrics and adults, with some pediatric patients in the ED. The typical patient ratios are 1:1. Required skills include experience with AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport. The position may require floating to various units within the facility. Charting is performed using an electronic health record system. Weekend rotation will be every other weekend by default. Time off requests can be approved for up to 7 days. On-call requirements may vary. Holiday expectations are not specifically outlined and may vary. Block scheduling requests will not be accommodated. Staff cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts due to fatigue policy. Scrub color is flexible, with the exception of camo or denim.
