Maintenance Assistant
Job Summary:
Astoria Healthcare Center, a leading healthcare provider in Sylmar, California, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful campus. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing equipment and fixtures
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance needs
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient upkeep of the campus
Respond to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and vendors
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and fire codes
