Respiratory Therapist - NICU

This position requires a traveler to float between high-risk deliveries, NICU, adult acute care, and the emergency department. Candidates will be responsible for assisting in care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults. Every other weekend and holiday coverage are required, with the expectation to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. The facility features a full-service emergency department and the candidate will assist with some pediatric care as applicable. Travelers should have experience with high frequency jet and oscillatory ventilators, intubation, extubation, and the management of tracheostomy care. Candidates must possess the ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and wean patients from mechanical ventilation. This role is not remote and will require flexibility to meet the needs of the facility. Candidates must have the necessary certifications and skills relevant to the duties of the position. Floating between different areas of the facility is a requirement for all staff.
