Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor is responsible for managing all F&B operations, forecasting, planning, and ensuring a high level of customer experience. The role focuses on maximizing sales and revenue while maintaining staff engagement. High School Diploma or GED required. All full‑time staff must be comfortable handling alcohol and be at least 21 years or older. Open availability required for work hours between 10:00 AM and 2:00 AM daily. Essential Duties Manage all F&B day‑to‑day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and presentation to ensure quality. Test cooked food by tasting and smelling to verify palatability and flavor conformity. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking contents to verify product quality and quantity. Monitor department budgets and payroll records, reviewing financial transactions to ensure authorized expenditures. Schedule staff hours and assign duties. Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Have full knowledge of the process for serving alcohol on the premises. Maintain excellent internal and external customer service levels. Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talent. Provide two‑way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork. Complete reviews, absence reports, and supervise staff with time, attendance, and work ethics. Comply with all health and safety regulations. Report sales results and productivity to management. Conduct alcohol and age‑restriction controls in accordance with company policies. Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Provide superior customer service by being visible and accessible. Perform all shift duties as required by the Store General Manager. Additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Store General Manager. Non‑Essential Duties Follow company guidelines for managing confidential information, customer satisfaction, and supervising F&B associates. Ensure satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of assigned facilities to comply with security, safety, and environmental codes and ordinances. Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety and loss prevention. Perform opening and closing duties including checking all doors and setting or disengaging the alarm. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with high integrity and respect for all. Solid communication abilities, critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or two‑year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment The employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level is usually loud. Physical Demands The employee must regularly bend, stretch, twist, climb, and maintain mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee must stand and walk for extensive periods without breaks during busy times and use hands/fingers to handle and reach. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
