Senior Network Security Engineer (Fortinet/Cisco)

Salary: $150,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking 9+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including advanced data center infrastructure work.
• We need 9+ years of hands-on Cisco networking experience covering design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• We require experience with Cisco Nexus 7K/9K and Catalyst routing and switching platforms.
• We are looking for 5+ years of Fortinet security experience, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Fortinet SD-WAN.
• We need deep expertise in routing and network architecture, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route redistribution, and policy-based routing.
• We value proven experience with M&A network integration, consolidation, and standardization initiatives.
• We require experience delivering large-scale network migrations into standardized enterprise golden configuration models while preserving availability and minimizing disruption.
• We need experience conducting network assessments, gap analysis, migration planning, and roadmap development for acquired environments.
• Preferred qualifications include advanced Fortinet ecosystem experience, Cisco ISE for NAC, Ruckus wireless, SolarWinds monitoring, and site-to-site IPsec or SSL VPN design and support.

• We lead the migration and standardization of acquired networks into our enterprise golden configuration.
• We assess acquired environments, identify gaps, and create migration strategies and execution plans.
• We design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center network infrastructure.
• We manage and optimize a large-scale enterprise network and security environment with a focus on availability, performance, and protection.
• We resolve escalated technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
• We oversee monitoring, alerting, incident response activities, and related documentation.
• We maintain security controls, including firewalls, access controls, intrusion detection, and change management practices.
• We mentor junior engineers and lead network projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• We perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, bottleneck resolution, and scalability planning.
• We produce and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, procedures, configurations, and knowledge base content.
• We coordinate resources across teams to support technology implementations, cutovers, and infrastructure improvements.
• We drive continuous process, systems, and operational improvements across the network environment.
