On- Call Security Officer

The Citadel Outlets is currently hiring for the following Security Officer positions to ensure a safe and positive shopping experience. On-Call Security Officers will enjoy a flexible schedule that may include daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts. All qualified candidates must have a valid CA Guard Card. Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20 Per Hour, depending on experience. This position may accommodate various scheduling needs based on availability to those who are able to perform the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times. Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center. Ensures the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude. Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored. Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures. Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough. Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center\'s Security work plan, assigned work activities, projects and programs. Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards. Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel. Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center. Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public. Performs special projects or other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High school diploma or its equivalent. 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
