Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembly SUMMARY: Assembles components in a manner which produces a cost effective, quality product, safely and on-time. (Assembly and Testing of products designed for the Marine and RV Industries.) EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. WORK EXPERIENCE: Prior assembly experience preferred but not required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Communicates within the department/team to provide needed information for the assembly of product. • Performs assigned or required tasks in order to assure product is assembled correctly and on-time. • Assists teammates with completing tasks in a timely manner. • Documents and maintains required product information for traceability purposes. • Aides the teams’ efforts to continually improve efficiencies and reduce costs. • Performs assembly specific skills within acceptable time limits when given proper training. • Participates in department/team operations as requested. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE UPON QUALICIATION IN POSITION: • Reading skills • Basic math skills • Able to write legibly • Blueprint reading • Measurement tools • Computer skills • Assembly specific skills • Able to follow directions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Repetitive hand/arm movement • Pushing pulling • Bending/stooping • Lifting up to 35lbs • Standing for long periods of time • Limited sitting • Climate controlled environment WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift . . . 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
