Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Medical Laboratory ScientistLocation: Hebron, NEAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: 4-10 hours shifts per week, varied start times from 6 AM to 8 AM, with 1-2 nights of on-call rotation per week.Job Description: The Medical Laboratory Scientist contributes to fulfilling the organization's vision and mission by exercising appropriate judgment based on knowledge and skills, contributing to all aspects of the laboratory department.Responsibilities:Maintain and perform laboratory services in accordance with CLIA standards and established budget.Adhere to test methods ensuring the quality of patient results.Participate in proficiency testing, ensuring accurate problem identification and correction.Maintain acceptable levels of analytical performance and adhere to quality assurance programs.Coordinate ordering and receiving of laboratory supplies.Collect specimens from patients, including capillary, venous, and arterial specimens.Perform tests in the areas of urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, serology, hematology, and transfusion services.Maintain laboratory equipment and environment of safety.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.ASCP or AMT certification, must maintain proper standing.Full range of body motion including manual dexterity and visual acuity.Maintain current professional license in accordance with state law.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
