Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

This position is available in a 26-bed acute care unit with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on General Surgery and Trauma patients. The majority of patients (90%) are post-surgical, while the remaining 10% have medical diagnoses. The unit is equipped for cardiac monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry, enhancing patient care and safety.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:00)
• Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays
• Time off: Up to 40 hours approved

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to protocols for cardiac monitoring, capnography, and pulse oximetry.
• Comply with floating policies within the healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Epic experience is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
