The Details Go4 is accepting applications for a Head Athletic Trainer contract position with Avon Grove Charter School for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will handle athletic training services, evaluation of injured athletes, rehabilitation of injured athletes, and running and managing the Athletic Training Facility. Role: Head Athletic Trainer Pay: Hourly rate ranges from $45-$55/hr, commensurate with experience Schedule: August 2026 – May 2027, variable depending upon athletics schedule; approx. 25 hr/week Location: West Grove, PA Benefits: Relocation Stipend, Annual CEU Subscription, Professional Liability Insurance Reimbursement, License Renewal Reimbursement, In-State Tuition for DAT/Masters programs at Indiana State University Essential Duties and Responsibilities Go4 is searching for a certified athletic trainer with Avon Grove Charter School. The successful candidate will handle athletic training services, evaluation and rehabilitation of injured athletes, and running and managing their Athletics Training Room (ATR). Job Responsibilities: Maintain overall Sports Medicine program for the school, including injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, concussion management, injury treatment and rehabilitation for student-athletes. Provide athletic training services for the athletic department, including attendance at scheduled team practices and home and away competitions as necessary. Coordinate with the team physician to review pre‑participation physical examinations and medical referrals for student-athletes to determine their ability to practice and compete. Manage the Athletic Training Room including medical inventory, budgetary items, and maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming environment. Assist the Athletic Director with determining safety and medical concerns for athletic events, emergency action planning, and enforcing school policies and protocols. Evaluate and recommend new techniques, equipment, and policies that would enhance the sports medicine program. Maintain up‑to‑date records and documentation using Healthy Roster. The Ideal Candidate has Preferred Education: Master’s degree from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program. Certifications: BOC certification required, PA State Licensure, PA Act 153 clearances. Experience: 2-5 years as an athletic trainer preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
