Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Providing high-quality emergency nursing care, the Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will deliver comprehensive patient services during night shifts, ensuring rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization of trauma and medical cases. The role involves working on a flexible schedule with optimal patient outcomes as the primary focus.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care according to protocols, including trauma and critical cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC.
• Conduct clinical assessments, including EKG exams, ensuring compliance standards are met.
• Float to various campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments.
• Maintain active RN licensure, certifications, and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Hold active Florida RN license and required certifications (ACLS, BLS, NIH).
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Successful completion of EKG exam and compliance modules during orientation.
• Able to work 3x12 night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess valid driver’s license and pass background check with no open cases.
