Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will serve as a key liaison among patients, families, providers, and other team members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care and Coordination: Develop and execute care plans that promote both short- and long-term patient outcomes and well-being. Utilize independent judgment when necessary and communicate care plans effectively with the team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, changes in condition, care provided, education given, and any incidents related to care standards or compliance with hospital policies.
• Education: Act as a resource for patients and families on health-related topics, embracing a patient- and family-centered approach to ensure satisfaction among patients, families, staff, and physicians.
• Performance Improvement: Contribute ideas for identifying solutions and support the implementation of changes aimed at enhancing patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, staff morale, and organizational performance.
• Professional Development: Engage in required training and proactively seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth. Mentor and support the development of fellow nurses.
• Compliance: Adhere to all organizational policies, work standards, and the code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact).
• Experience in direct patient care is preferred.
