Service Manager MHC Truck Leasing-Memphis, Memphis, TN 1721 Transport Avenue Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Service Manager. The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the branch's service and maintenance departments in compliance with established policies and procedures. Plans, directs and controls all activities of the service and maintenance departments to ensure the overall growth and profit objectives are met. Formulates the major objectives, specific policies, plans procedures and programs for the service and maintenance departments; evaluates the department's results and performance against objectives. Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs. Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the service department. Establishes short and long term operating and financial objectives for the service department, within the Company's overall plans and policies. Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department. Formulates annual and monthly sale/profit objectives are expense budgets in accordance with company objectives. Reviews and appraises the results of the activities within the departments and takes appropriate action as necessary. Develops, for approval, merchandising strategies to ensure that objectives are obtained. Maintains appropriate communication within and between all departments within the branch. Develops and maintains policies and practices which will ensure positive customer relations. Be familiar with the activities of competition, market conditions and department operation; keep the Branch Manager informed. Coordinates the processing of warranty claims with the Corporate Leasing Warranty Department and administer warranty and policy adjustments in the most advantageous manner for the customer, branch and vendor. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Safety‑Sensitive This position has been designated as a safety-sensitive position. Qualifications Minimum of four years experience in related field. Must display excellent leadership and communication skills. Requires previous supervisory experience. CDL preferred. Must have positive can-do attitude.
