Combo Welder - Stainless & Carbon Pipe

Location: Andrews, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with overtime and occasional weekends

We are seeking an experienced Combo Welder to perform welding and fabrication on stainless steel and carbon steel piping and vessels. Candidates should have strong TIG and pipe welding experience and be able to produce quality welds that meet applicable codes and inspection requirements.

Job Duties:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping
• Perform SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG and/or FCAW welding as required
• Measure, cut, grind, fit, and assemble pipe and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Perform welding according to approved WPS and applicable welding codes
• Inspect completed welds and make repairs or corrections as needed
• Maintain weld quality to meet visual, radiographic, and ultrasonic inspection standards
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous pipe welding experience
• Strong TIG welding skills
• Experience with stainless and carbon steel
• Must be able to pass an ASME 6G pipe welding test
• Ability to read blueprints and weld drawings
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing, background check, and MVR
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work long shifts in a shop/industrial environment
• Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work
