Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a 16-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date: 09/14/2026. Weekly pay: $1,554 to $1,565 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 2x3 schedule. Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide NICU respiratory care including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and humidification as ordered.
- Perform airway clearance, aerosolized therapy, suctioning, and bronchodilator treatments; monitor patient response.
- Monitor and assess patients, obtain and interpret ABGs, track trends, and adjust therapy per protocol under supervision.
- Document interventions and outcomes in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate ventilator settings and medication administration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; uphold infection control practices; collaborate with the NICU team on care plans.
- Participate in rounds and communicate clinical updates; ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Holiday coverage: must be able to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (e.g., the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) as required.

Requirements
- Georgia RRT license (GA RRT Lic) and NBRC RRT credential
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work in a NICU hospital setting and follow physician orders
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts and the travel assignment schedule
