Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Mission Hospital - Memorial Campus 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 Unit Information: D2 Location: Mission Main campus/D corridor Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Floor: 2 nd floor (D2) Building: Mission General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 20 and type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA Patient Ratios – 1:5/ 1:6 stretch dependent on level of care Inpatient overflow unit w/mixed level of care- medical surgical and/or step-down patients bedded on this unit Short stay ( Quick turnover Type of equipment – telemetry; if telemetry monitoring indicated, all patients hardwired to bedside monitor. EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Telemetry competency Progressive Care experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Recent progressive care experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Best personality Fit: Positive attitude, pt. experience focused, kind, compassionate, team player/works well with others. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS and ACLS Floating Area(s): Travelers will be required to float to other units if needed.
