Mobile Physical Therapist Job Description As a per-diem Physical Therapist at Physio On The Go, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mobile physical therapy services to our clients at their homes or workplaces. You will work with clients of all ages and backgrounds (mainly middle aged and older adults), assessing their needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing guidance on exercises and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being. You will also enjoy the flexibility of managing your own schedule and benefit from competitive compensation relative to most brick-and-mortar clinics and home health agencies, with simplified documentation and billing systems that save you time and headaches! The ideal candidate for this position should have a valid California PT license and a preferred minimum of 1-2 years of experience in physical therapy. We are looking for candidates with a strong sense of clinical independence, ability to quickly establish rapport with our patients/clients and their families, possess a growth mindset with strong communication skills, with a patient-centered and fitness-forward approach to care, and who have a passion for helping people live their lives to the fullest! Responsibilities: -Conduct initial assessments of clients' physical abilities, medical histories, and goals. -Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions. -Evaluate and monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. -Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, home exercise programs and other lifestyle modifications to improve their overall health and well-being. -Provide mobile outpatient and sports medicine services, as well as geriatric care, in accordance with best practices and standards.Maintain accurate and complete records of clients' treatment and progress. -Proudly represent our organization and assist with bringing awareness to our brand, approach, and value in the community at large. Requirements: -Willingness to perform minimum of8-16 visits per week -Valid California PT license. -Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in physical therapy preferred but all applicants welcome -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.Comfortable working in a mobile setting. -Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. -3 professional references from past employers in related field Pay Range (pay per visit model): -$70/visit Evaluations -$60/visit Follow-up visits -Mileage reimbursement 0.70 cents/mile (between patients) -$20/hr non-clinical time reimbursement If you are a qualified Physical Therapist who is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and eager to join a dynamic and growing team, we welcome and encourage you to apply!
