About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred First-timers accepted License: South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS Clienttion Badge (to be provided by agency) Must-Have: Experience in scrub role preferred Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: The Registered Nurse position is for the Operating Room specialty. Shifts are 3x12, occurring on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday. The position does not require on-call duty. Float requirements may include moving between like units based on facility needs. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are strongly preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. A South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required for this position. BLS certification is required, and a Clienttion Badge will be provided by the agency. Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred. The facility is a Level 1 trauma academic center with 21 operating rooms covering various surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of a mix of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. This is a busy and dynamic department that provides cutting-edge technology to the community. Interested individuals should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Additional requirements may include prior experience in trauma or travel.
