Details Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting PM shift, three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) On-call required every 4th weekend and one day per week Patient cases include complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures Uses floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines, power injectors for iodinated contrast media, and Sectra/PACS imaging system EMR: Epic (charting) Requirements 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist Active NJ radiographic licensure required (license required if applicable) Current ARRT (R) certification BLS certification from an American Heart Association-accredited program with skills demonstration High school diploma/GED and associate degree, or completion of an accredited radiographic program Proficiency with fluoroscopic modalities, power contrast injection devices, and PACS systems Ability to scrub and assist proceduralists during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases Strong sterile technique and infection prevention practices Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Scrub side-by-side with specialty proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases Responsibilities include circulating and retrieving complex interventional products, operating power injectors, maintaining sterile procedural trays, and performing groin management post-intervention Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Must apply closed‑loop communication skills in a fast‑paced procedural environment May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital as needed Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID #P-728364.
