Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist. Located near Hampshire, IL, this role offers a chance to enrich young learners’ communication skills while collaborating with dedicated education professionals. You'll join the team at Jefferson Elementary, where your expertise will directly impact student growth during the first semester.

You will primarily serve one school, working with a diverse caseload and providing some additional support to the team as needed—particularly when a fellow SLP returns later in the semester. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge in a dynamic, student-focused environment with flexibility around start and end dates.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid SLP state license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge of elementary-age speech and language development best practices
• Commitment to professional collaboration and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assess and document student progress
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students to support learning goals
• Collaborate with fellow SLPs and educational colleagues to coordinate therapy and student support
• Adapt to evolving caseload needs and provide assistance as the SLP team changes throughout the semester
