Summary This is a great opportunity for an EIT or PE who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects for our Water-Wastewater Team in Austin in serving utilities throughout Central Texas. We specialize in providing planning, design, and construction phase engineering services on a wide range of water/wastewater projects, including improvements to wastewater treatment plants, wastewater collection systems, drinking water plants, and water distribution systems. You will be working side-by-side with a team of knowledgeable engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters collaboration and career development. What will you be doing? Work as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria Perform specific project tasks within a broader assignment and actively assists the Project Engineer and Project Manager Conduct field visits and attend client meetings as necessary for various projects Assist in producing and developing deliverables that will be submitted to clients and regulatory authorities Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members including but not limited to CAD designers and other engineers Typically support multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges Provide technical guidance and coordination with sub-discipline staff (civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/I&C) for wastewater and water facilities projects What are we looking for? A candidate with a four-year accredited B.S. degree in Civil, Mechanical or other related engineering discipline. A candidate with two plus years of relevant progressive experience related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Possess strong verbal and technical writing skills and able to read/interpret technical literature, and engineering plans and specifications. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills through applied engineering principles. A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) and Revu Bluebeam. A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT, and Civil3D is preferred. Team approach to work production and delivery.
