Unit ClerkUnit Clerk Rate: $17.35- $18.05 Days - M-FTaconic at Hopewell is looking to add a Unit Clerk to its team. In this role, you'll provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing department while helping ensure units remain organized, stocked, and operating efficiently. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy supporting both residents and healthcare teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Responsibilities:Maintain inventory of medical supplies by ordering and tracking supplies according to established par levelsInventory medical supplies as requested by nursing leadership and administrationTrack and maintain supply information using designated electronic systemsKeep supply areas clean, organized, and properly stockedCommunicate concerns regarding supply levels or product quality to nursing leadershipCoordinate transportation appointments and maintain appointment calendars as directedMonitor laboratory schedules and reports as requestedComplete unit filing and maintain organized recordsRespond to call bells by notifying appropriate staff membersAnswer unit telephones and forward calls and messages appropriatelyPrepare physician appointment packets for external medical appointmentsComplete forms, reports, and documentation as requestedComplete monthly reports, including supply counts and equipment reportsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Unit Coordinator, Director of Nursing, or AdministratorRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferredMinimum experience requirement: 6 months of experience working in a customer service position; 1 year of experience working in a customer service position preferredStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesProficiency with computers and electronic record systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of HIPAA privacy, security, and confidentiality requirementsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teamsCommitment to professionalism, accuracy, and resident-centered serviceBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
