Our client, a Texas based law firm with offices near Webster, Texas, has a great opportunity available for an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The Paralegal plays an essential role in delivering exceptional service and achieving successful outcomes. Personal Injury Paralegals have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm. The Personal Injury Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation and pre-litigation matters, from case intake through settlement or trial. Daily responsibilities include managing case files, obtaining and reviewing medical records and billing records, communicating with clients, healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel, and maintaining accurate case documentation. The paralegal will assist with drafting demand packages, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, settlement documents, and other case-related materials. Additional duties include tracking deadlines, coordinating medical treatment information, preparing cases for mediation, deposition, and trial, and ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and procedural requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys to monitor case progress, support litigation strategy, and help maximize client recovery while providing outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury law, including pre-litigation and/or litigation case management is required.
• Strong understanding of personal injury procedures, insurance claims, medical records, liens, settlements, and litigation processes.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, settlement documents, and correspondence.
• Experience obtaining, reviewing, organizing, and summarizing medical records, billing records, accident reports, and other supporting evidence.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in case management, document preparation, and recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, case management software, electronic filing systems, and legal technology platforms.
• Experience with Texas state court procedures and e-filing systems preferred.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
