Position Overview

We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to be part of a collaborative team of imaging specialists committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will be utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform important diagnostic examinations, partnering with a network of supportive clinicians, and providing patients with crucial insights for their health journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy and kindness
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure the delivery of optimal diagnostic images
• Maintain the ultrasound equipment in excellent operational order, addressing any issues as they arise
• Accurately document all imaging procedures and manage patient records using electronic medical systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related disciplines
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
