Please click here to learn more about our locations.**Job Description**Shriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a full-time night shift Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. You will provide direct patient care for children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. This involves providing Med-Surg and ICU level of nursing care. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.Hours**:** This full-time nigh shift position works 72 hours bi-weekly and every 3rd weekend. **Key Responsibilities:*** The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.* The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.* This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.* Must have excellent communication skills and be skillful in mentoring and teaching.**Required Qualifications:*** BSN degree or in process* Missouri RN License* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification**Preferred Qualifications:*** 2+ years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads)* Pediatric and ICU experience* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationThe pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
