Job Description
Registered Nurse - PCU

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Includes 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Assignment Details

Floating between units may be required. This position is approved for 48 hours.

Requirements

• Current nursing license
• Experience in a progressive care unit (PCU) or similar environment
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients in the PCU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and neurological status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
