Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Medford, Oregon. The role involves managing a diverse patient population with complex needs, including those requiring telemetry monitoring, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Details Position Description: Provides patient care for a general medical unit with 36 private beds, involving diagnoses such as GI, pneumonia, cellulitis, renal issues, CHF, DM, ETOH withdrawal, electrolyte imbalances, infectious diseases, and psychiatric patients with medical complaints. Must adhere to care bundles and accept feedback graciously. Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN; licensure eligible to submit or hold Oregon license; experience with deescalation techniques, chest tubes, heparin drips, NG tubes/feeding tubes preferred; availability for 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Travelers may float within skill set, including other med surg units, ICU, ER, or as sitters. Basic understanding of strip interpretation and lethal rhythms is expected. Uniform includes any colored professional scrubs; tattoos above shoulders are not permitted; facial piercings limited to a nose stud; hair must be clean and well-maintained. The hours include two 12-hour shifts, and there is no fixed weekend or holiday schedule, with flexibility based on department needs.
