We are seeking a skilled Contract Cook to join our team in Glen Allen, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities include planning and preparing meals according to dietary needs, managing kitchen inventory, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
