Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Must-Have: - Experience in caring for heart failure patients Description: We are seeking highly motivated nurses for a PCU Cardiac Unit. The role involves caring for a variety of heart failure patients. The unit capacity is 23 beds. The population served includes patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, acute coronary syndrome, pre and post cardiac surgery, and other related cardiac disorders. Patients primarily range from young adults to late adults (18-60+). The nurse to patient ratio is 5:1. The core staffing plan includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.
