RN - Wound Care Clinic (PRN)

GENERAL Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator, the Registered Nurse provides patient care, handles intake and discharge processes, and may serve as a Case Manager for a group of assigned Wound Care Center patients, depending on the center’s setup. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience Previous wound care experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Licenses / Certifications / Registries Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas with renewal as required by law; BLS. Medical/Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care certification preferred. OTHERS Personality / Interpersonal Skills Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
