Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a community hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT R certification.

Details

• Community hospital setting with adult and pediatric acute care patients
• Work spans Emergency Department, ICU, Operating Room, and bedside/portable procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required, approximately 2 call shifts per month; weeknight call is 2400-0700 and weekend call is split into two 12-hour shifts
• Performs abdomen, chest, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremity, and head imaging studies
• Fluoroscopy studies including arthrography, barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, upper GI series, and enema studies
• Mobile and surgical procedures including C-arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest imaging
• Uses PACS system and Philips equipment; Fuji CR experience preferred
• Potential to float between sister facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT R certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable
• Acute care, ER, ICU, bedside, OR, and fluoroscopy experience required
• Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities as part of the assignment
